Henriette 'One Eye' Cooper

Here is my participation of the contest of the Club- Sly-Cooper. I present you the Sly’s pirate ancestor, this nice Henriette, in a drawing AND a small text. Good reading.

The sun went one more time on the Caribbean Sea, and nevertheless captain Henriette Cooper, called “One Eye”, was at the helm of the “Caribbean Queen”, to listen to soft lappings of waves and the song of gulls by savoring the salty air of the sea. The fresh wind of the evening caressed her face and at this moment, she thought at nothing, rocked by this ocean which had seen growing her.
Certainly, she belonged to a family of master thieves. But her, she was born near of the sea and this impressive quantity of water had always made her dream. So, when she was older, she followed the way that her family had drawn for her, found a small equipage and a ship deserving of the thief that she was.
At the moment she lived her dream. Hunting treasures, fights with sabers against her worst enemies, long journeys at the commands of her boat... such was her everyday life. She was afraid by nothing, lived her life from day to day …
… because she was a pirate.

Voici ma participation au petit concours du Club- Sly-Cooper. Je vous présente donc l’ancêtre pirate de Sly, cette brave Henriette, dans un dessin ET un petit texte. Bonne lecture.

Le soleil se couchait une fois de plus sur la mer des Caraïbes, et pourtant le capitaine Henriette Cooper, appelée « La Borgne », était encore à la barre du « Caribbean Queen », à écouter les doux clapotements des vagues et le chant des mouettes en savourant l’air salé de la mer. Le vent frais de la soirée caressait son visage et à ce moment là, elle ne pensait plus à rien, bercée par cet océan qui l’avait vu grandir.
Certes, elle appartenait à une famille de maître-voleurs. Mais elle, elle était née près de la mer et cette impressionnante quantité d’eau l’avait toujours fait rêver. Aussi, lorsqu’elle fut plus grande, elle suivit la route que sa famille avait tracé pour elle, trouva un petit équipage et un navire digne de la voleuse qu’elle était.
A présent elle vivait son rêve. Chasses aux trésors, combats au sabre contre ses pires ennemis, longs voyages aux commandes de son bateau… tel était son quotidien. Elle ne craignait plus rien, vivait sa vie au jour le jour…
… parce qu’elle était une pirate.

A part ça, je souhaite une bonne chance aux autres participants et en attendant…
