Hello peeps ! I hope you are doing well ! \O/

For my part, I could be going better. I fell down the stairs two weeks ago and landed on my shoulder, which got dislocated. The bone was replaced properly two hours later at the emergencies, but my arm was immobilized ever since to let the tendons heal. I still have one week of immobilization before I can set my arm free, but even then I'd need some re-education for my shoulder, as I can feel my muscles has lost a lot of their power.

I forgot to mention that my sore arm is the right one of course, the one I mostly use and draw with, otherwise it wouldn't be funny now, wouldn't it ? :')

So this little incident made me uncapable of working on Melvin for now, when we are close to release the first season, and on personnal work all together.

There was that, but there's also some questions regarding my DeviantArt account I've been thinking about, after some news regarding the website.

With years passing by the website has gone bad, that's for sure, but I kept posting my art there nontheless.

But it just kept getting worst... recently with the whole AI art hype, and DeviantArt jumping in the bandwagon in the worst way possible.

Don't be afraid. I'm not thinking about deleting my account or removing my stuff from there. It still represent years of progression for me, this is too precious to just get rid of it all (even as cringy as some of my first pieces can be XD ).

But I'm seriously wondering if I will keep posting art there in the future.

On one hand there's all of that, but on the other I can't really think of another website that's sort of identical to it.

For example I'm not interested in starting a gallery on Twitter or Tumblr, that's a no.

Instagram could maybe be an option, the thing is that it was designed to upload photos directly from your phone, not pictures from your computer.

ArtStation seems really fine for professional work, but what about silly stuff ? I still wanna be able to post silly stuff. :p

I'm thinking about all of this. If I ever decide to create an account elsewhere to post my art, be sure that I will give you updates on this. ^^

Hello people ! It's been a while. I hope you're doing well ? :D

I'm very sorry for not giving much news this year and not submitting any new drawing in my gallery, there are a few reasons to that to be honest. ^^'

One of them being that I kind of feel lost with DeviantArt's new layout since Eclipse... I guess I'll just try to get used to it.

Another one being that I was mostly busy with work.

And the last one being that I've had an hard time getting myself back to get personal work done. I'm gonna try to kick myself back to it.

Now the reason why I'm writing a journal today is because, at last, after working on these series since July of last year, the first mini-episode of "Melvin est Magique" is out ! And there are English subtitles for non-French speakers. \O/

(though the video is watchable on YouTube of course, don't worry if the thumbnail doesn't seem to work here)

A few mini-episodes shall come out in the following weeks, while the long ones should be released next year around January or February.

In the meantime, I guess I have a lot of things to catch up. \o/

Hello hello gentle people ! I hope you are all doing well despite all everything going on around the world at this time.

I wanted to give a little update and talk about the project I've been working on (and still working on as we're not done just yet), since my boss released a big update video about the whole thing yesterday;

( the video is in French though, I apologize, and I don't know if there are going to be some subtitles in English. But I'll give some informations below. Also you can see my face there. )

Sooo Melvin is a little animated show created entirely by my boss, ( OhPonyBoy, who released this video ) in 2019. He created three episodes all by himself, writing the scenario, voicing the characters, composing the music and animating the whole thing. However it's an insane amount of work to accomplish alone and as he needed a real team to create a whole series, he started a crowdfunding campain which worked well, and so the adventure began. \O/

He rewrote the scenario for 11 episodes, voiced the characters again, with the help of more voice actors this time, composed more music for the series, and hired us little artists to work on the backgrounds and animation. ^^

We're now far into the production but there's still a lot of work to be done. Though some mini-episodes should be released in September and the real biggest episodes should be available next year around the beginning of 2023 (very probably on YouTube, unless a distributor is interested in the series and buy it to be broadcasted on a certain channel, but it's not certain yet).

It's a lot of work but the project is adorable and fun, I can't wait to be done with it so people can see the result. :D

So there it is. That's kind of why I haven't been very active lately (well, that and DeviantArt Eclipse XD ). I'm gonna try to post more stuff though but I mostly wanted to give updates. ;u;

So hum I should probably have given updates sooner. But I didn't. I'm sorry. I spent the last six months in another town working on another animated project and these six months passed so fast I didn't realized I didn't give any updates about it. Now I'm back home I should. :'0 I also have a lot to catch up on dA because I didn't really check it except my notes and sometimes comments, so I think I have a pile of neat artworks to check on. \O/ In the meantime, I wish you a happy new year and a good day !

Hello you ! I hope that you, your family and your friends are doing well. <3 I think it's pretty obvious that I haven't been very active lately, and that's normal. After a year of not finding any job because of... well... you know :'T ... I've found a new animated project to work on. Will start in July. ^^ But since this studio is located yet in another city in France (not Paris nor Toulouse, where I live) I also had to find an appartment there. And boy was it something. OuO' It wasn't easy, generated a lot of stress, but at last I found one and settled there. So that's one thing done. Now about the project... it's something a bit special, as it will be available on YouTube (it's a French project also, so the voice acting is done in French), but the creator will probably share videos about the production on his channel. Which means me face will probably be seen there. XD So yes, there's all of that... and also, go watch "Elliott from Earth".
